Personal Information Protection Policy

The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. believes it is its social responsibility to handle customers' personal information, individual number and specific personal information (hereinafter, a customer's individual number and specific personal information are collectively referred to as the "Specific Personal Information, etc.") properly. The following is our Personal Information Protection Policy. We intend to do our best to protect our customers' personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. by ensuring that every executive and employee complies with this Policy.

Based on these principles, we are aware that appropriate handling of personal information, individual numbers and specified personal information of customers (hereinafter, individual number and specified personal information will be referred to as “specified personal information”) is the Company’s social responsibility. Accordingly, we have determined the following privacy policy and through strict compliance of both our executives and staff, we are exerting all possible measures to protect the personal information and specified personal information of our customers.

1. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will comply with laws and regulations regarding the proper handling of customers' personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc.
2. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will acquire personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. properly. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will notify and/or disclose the purpose of use of such personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. to customers and will not use them beyond the disclosed purpose except as permitted by law. The Specific Personal Information, etc. will be used only within the scope of the purpose of use permitted by law.
   Furthermore, excluding cases stipulated by laws and regulations, we provide notification and publication of the purpose of use of our customers’ personal information and specified personal information, and use this information within that scope.
   The individual specification information is only used within the scope of purpose of use as stipulated by laws and regulations.
3. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will educate all of its executives and employees who handle personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. so that they understand the importance of protecting them and handle customers' personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. properly.
4. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will take necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. and will endeavor to prevent improper access to, alteration, loss and/or leakage of personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc.
5. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will not supply any personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual concerned, except as permitted by law. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will also not supply the Specific Personal Information, etc. of customers to any third party except as permitted by law.
   Furthermore, excluding the cases stipulated by laws and regulations, we will not provide our customers’ personal information or individual specification information to a third party.
6. When outsourcing the handling of personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. to other institutions, The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will monitor the institutions concerned to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to protect customers' personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc.
7. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will establish procedures for correcting and disclosing personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc. of customers. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. is also willing to receive opinions and inquiries regarding the handling of such personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc.
   We also accept inquiries regarding the handling of personal information and individual specification information.
8. The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd. will continually review and improve its management systems to protect personal information and the Specific Personal Information, etc.
